01. Who we are

CoachPaper is a small printables maker for grassroots football coaches. One person runs it; one server runs it. We aren't a tech-startup and we don't want to be one. Questions go to hello@coachpaper.com.

02. What we keep, and why

• Your team — name, colours, and crest. We need it to render your printables.
• Your account (if you create one) — name, email, password (hashed). Lets you sign back in and reach the bundle.
• Your order (if you buy) — the £20 record, when it was paid, what was generated.
• Anonymous build session — if you start a team without an account, we hold the team, the crest, and the three free previews against a short-lived cookie. Cleared after 30 days unless you sign up and claim it.
• Use stats (only if you accept the optional cookie) — which pages you visited and which printables you clicked. Helps us decide what to build next.

03. How long we keep it

• Anonymous teams + previews: 30 days from your last visit, then deleted entirely. If you sign up before 30 days are up, the work moves to your account and stays.
• Account + paid bundles: while your account is active, plus 2 years after deletion (for tax + dispute records).
• Use stats: 12 months, then aggregated and the raw events dropped.

04. Cookies

• coachpaper_session — essential. Keeps your build session stitched between pages. 90 days, http-only.
• coachpaper_jwt — essential, only set after you sign in. Holds your login. 30 days, http-only.
• coachpaper_consent — essential. Remembers your banner choice so we don't ask again. 365 days.
• PostHog analytics — optional. Set only if you accept “Touchline stats”. EU-hosted, IP-stripped, inputs masked. Off until you say yes.

05. Who else sees it

Hosting is on a single server. Email goes through a transactional provider for receipts. Card payments go through a payments provider — we never see your card number. That's the list. We don't sell anything to anyone.

06. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@coachpaper.com and we'll come back within a week. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

07. Changes

If anything material changes we'll bump the version on the cookie banner so you're asked again. Small wording tweaks just update the date at the top of this page.
